Winter Thaw was a great happening – sorry you missed it
The IHSPA annual adviser retreat will be February 20, 2015 at the Des Moines Register.
The event will be in the community room of the Des Moines Register at 400 Locust Street, Des Moines.
The community room is on the first floor of the building where the Register now housed.
The newsroom is on fifth floor.
We have great people on the program.
Doors open at 8:30 am. (We will attend the Des Moines Register’s news meeting at 9:15. it is upstairs so come early)

* Attend the news budget meeting
* A lesson on making iPhone video
* Lunch time panel discussion – Are there jobs if you study journalism?
* A few words with Daniel Finney – Metro Columnist – Des Moines Register Media
* Sharing afternoon. We encourage participants for bring ideas and concerns.
We plan to wrap the day at 4 pm
