Each year IHSPA recognizes one of the state’s top high school journalism students as the Journalist of the Year. This year we congratulate Kailey Gee.

Iowa City West High School’s Kailey Gee is IHSPA 2022 Journalist of the year. She iseligilbe to compete in JEA’s national competition. She receives $500 and a trophy from IHSPA. Kailey’s entry.
