The Iowa High School Press Association created the Badge Design Contest to give students a chance to showcase their design skills and have their design be the official Fall Conference badge

Read what inspired Lillyana’s design:
I looked at the examples given and took inspiration from the camera. I liked the idea of including a camera because it is a very common hobby I know a lot of highschoolers attending IHSPA have. I also wanted to include other elements of other hobbies students have. So, I made background with those elements. I also liked the idea of including University of Iowa’s campus since that is where the event takes place.
